Just one week after BLUE is scheduled to exhibit at PACK EXPO in our hometown of Chicago, we’ll be hitting the road and heading West. Our destination will be the Pharma and Device Packaging and Labeling Conference taking place in San Mateo, Ca, November 16-17. This trip promises to be a big event for BLUE, as we’re the lead sponsor of the conference. One of the highlights of the two-day event will be our own Director of Business Development, Jackie Leslie’s presentation “Getting Focused: Presenting 5 KPI for Artwork Excellence”  on Wednesday, November 16 at 9:30am.

The BLUE team, meanwhile, will be situated at booth #8. On hand will be the aforementioned Jackie Leslie, Business Development Executive Mahira Buljina, Solutions Consultant Allan Larson and Director of Business Development Brian McGill. They will be there to introduce conference-goers to the next evolution of our leading Labeling and Artwork Management software, BLUE V. Featuring a fast and sleek User Interface, BLUE V provides the ability for multiple stakeholders to review and annotate projects in real time from any device (PC, iPad, mobile), online proofing, calendar view and much more. Plus, it’s all hosted in the cloud, which means there’s no need to download any software or rely on your IT team to make any installations – we do all the work. Many of these changes are the direct result of user feedback, so we’ll be excited to show everyone the results.

A highly successful and important event, this is the first time the Pharma Device Packaging and Labeling Conference is being held on the West Coast. Featuring a number of pharmaceutical industry experts, roundtable discussions and networking opportunities, this year’s event will dedicate sessions to each specialty of the pharma field. Attendees will hear talks on a wide and diverse range of topics within commercial packaging and labeling. The goal of the conference is to arm attendees with actionable strategies to improve their day-to-day processes with greater insight into the other components of their commercial supply chain.
